Cold Rolling (Adain Avion)
Cold Rolling is a dance project created by choreographer Tanja Råman in collaboration with John Hardy for Ballet Cymru. The soundtrack is remixed by Victoria Ashfield from sounds and music by John Hardy, performed by Ebbw Vale Male Voice Choir.
First performed on location, the work draws inspiration from the architecture, processes and sounds of the decaying industrial site of the old Ebbw Vale steel works.
Cold Rolling was originally commissioned by Adain Avion, part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
